— OUR STORY
Farnam Tree is a private investment partnership formed in 2021. We operate an investment service based in Bangkok.
Our mission is to deliver for our clients, stakeholders and shareholders – in that order.
We work with you to protect and grow capital with a long-term focus.
Clients are put first as they are our paymaster, rather than a bank or broker. Farnam Tree is mainly compensated via a fee model based on the state and performance of client portfolios. This structure is different from industry norms in Thailand.
Services are delivered to you through a combination of discretionary and advisory models as we recognize differences in needs, preferences and level of experience among investors.

Atul Sethi
CEO/Founder
Atul oversees the investment activity at Farnam Tree.
He manages the firm’s Global Growth strategy and conducts investment research.
Atul has over a decade of experience in sell-side equities and investment banking. He was formerly part of Credit Suisse’s top-ranked Thailand research team covering banks and real estate.
Atul has a degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and is a registered Investment Analyst with the Thai SEC.

Shiva Sachaphimukh
Investment analyst
Shiva conducts investment research and analysis at Farnam Tree.
He assists Atul in managing the Global Growth strategy and maintains the firm’s research database.
Shiva has experience working in research and sales. He holds an Investment Consultant license from the Thai SEC and has a degree in Management from Assumption University.

Natalia Salamone
Head of Operations
Natalia oversees operations at Farnam Tree.
She supervises the execution activity with brokers for the firm and directs client onboarding activity.
Natalia has 8 years of experience defining and developing operational policies and guidelines for beer production and export logistics.
She has an educational background in entrepreneurship and logistics from Bangkok University School of Entrepreneurship and Management in collaboration with Babson College.

Wannapa Asavatevavith
Independent advisor
Khun Wannapa Asavatevavith has more than 20 years experience in the industry and acts as an Independent Advisor to Farnam Tree.
She was a core member of BNP Paribas in forming the Thai research team with Finansia Syrus Securities (FSS). Her last position was with FSS International Investment Advisory Securities as a Senior Executive Vice President.

The predominant model in the wealth management in Thailand holds several problems. It primarily is based around product sales, which immediately obscures incentives. Relationship managers and salespeople win when they sell and make volume-based commissions. How do we know that recommendations are being made with our best interest in mind?
